Resident Evil 4 Guide | All Chapter 1 Collectibles Locations

There are 16 chapters in Resident Evil 4, and in every one of them, you can find collectibles ranging from treasures to weapons and Clockwork Castellans. Every item is important to progress throughout the story, and this guide will show you how to get every collectible.

Item 1 - Weapon: W870 Shotgun

At the Village Square. You'll encounter an unusual sequence with a group of locals. After everything is over, you'll notice the large tower in front of you. You will enter the building just to the left, climb the stairs, and find the W870 Shotgun.

Item 2 - Treasure: Velvet Blue

In the same tower in the village square where you found the W870 Shotgun, jump out of the window, and on the roof, you will find the Velvet Blue.

Item 3- Treasure Ruby

Once you are on the tower's roof, drop down and follow a path to the house on the left; from there, go inside and claim the Ruby.

Item 4- Treasure Dirty Pearl Pendant

Head over to the farm. A little windmill could be found in the left-hand corner, near the pigs. A dirty pearl pendant hangs from this windmill. Before you can collect it, you have to shoot it down first.

All 5 Blue Medallion Locations

This request asks you to shoot five blue medallions in the farm area. To shoot the first target, you will move back and look up at the barn's second-floor window. Moving to the left side, you'll notice another one just out of bounds on the opposite side of the fence.

Continue circling the area until you find three more. As you return to the door, there's one on the wall in the corner. Then, you'll climb over the pig fence again and peep through a small window for another. Finally, to the right of the windmill, there is a little hut; step inside and look up to uncover the final medallion. 

Item 7- Treasure Flagon

The next piece of treasure is just past a puzzle on the second floor that requires a vital item to solve. Look out for a tripwire! Before climbing, loop around and collect the yellow plant. Once upstairs, go to the second door and descend down. The Flagon treasure is located in the red chest.

Item 8- Treasure Ruby

You'll come to a locked door in the windmill. You can choose to shoot the lock or save a bullet and use your knife. A Ruby is on the desk directly in front of you.

Item 9- Weapon Kitchen Knife

Another treasure, the Kitchen Knife, can also be found in the room where the Ruby was kept. Be careful to grab it, along with the important object, a cog.

Item 10- Clockwork Castellans 

The next location is the Lakeside Settlement. When you enter, you will notice a barn with a shattered roof. You can take the left path through the entrance or through the tiny field, but keep an eye out for ground traps. Inside the barn, you will locate the first Clockwork Castellan.
