To get the Rusty Crank in Resident Evil Requiem, you must reach the Underground Parking Garage during the Raccoon City Center mission. You have to finish the battery task first to open the gate. Once you get out, go left to the Cedarbrook Apartments.

Finding the Rusty Crank

Go inside the apartments and head up the stairs. It is smart to have your Shotgun or SMG ready. Walk through the building and go to the right.

Take out the enemy in your path. Drop down to the lower area and quickly kill the next enemy. If you move fast, you can grab the Crank Handle from the wall. Spin it right away to get the Rusty Crank in Resident Evil Requiem.

Using the Crank in the Apartments

The first place to use the tool is right there in the Cedarbrook Apartments. Head back up the stairs, but watch out for an enemy with explosives. Once he is dead, look for the Crank Slot. Put the Rusty Crank in and spin it to activate the mechanism.

Using the Crank in the Sewage Facility

The second spot is back in the Sewage Facility in Resident Evil Requiem, which is right next to where you found the batteries. Go into the facility and look for the door that needs the Rusty Crank.

Using it here lets you into a room with enemies and good items. You can find things like Magnum ammo and a ladder inside. After you use it here, you are done with the tool.
