To reach Cold Storage in Resident Evil Requiem, you must first complete a few tasks during the main story. A door handle will fall off, blocking your way, so you have to find another path to get back inside.

You will need to get an item from the Chairman's Office, use it in the Parlor, and eventually make your way to the East Side.

On the top floor, you will find an ID Wristband Level One on a body, though you might have to dodge a large enemy to grab it. Once you have the wristband and return to the Central Hall, you are ready to move toward the next step.

Getting the Wrench

From the Central Hall, head into the West Hall in Resident Evil Requiem. You might run into the Chef here. If you have a Hemolytic Injector or a Blood Specimen to craft one, you can catch him by surprise around the corner.

He carries the Pantry Key, but you can skip that for now. Continue to the Security Point Level One and use your ID Wristband Level One to get through. Once inside, take the first left into the Custodian's Office. You will find the Wrench sitting in this room.

Reaching Cold Storage

It's fastest to leave the office and go straight across the hallway. The office and kitchenette are up the stairs.

If the Chef is still alive, he might be roaming around. You will either have to sneak past him or fight him to get to the door.

Follow this path to return to the steps near Cold Storage. Other enemies can be stopped so you have time to get to the door.

Unlocking the Room and Collecting Loot

The Wrench can be used to open the door to the cold storage. Within, the Artificial Heart is the most significant thing for the story progression. Ensure you search for more loot. supplies before you leave.

You can find some Scrap, a Transfusion Bag in the back, and two boxes that hold Handgun Ammo. Once you have these items, you will have everything you need from this area.
