In Windrose, everything is out to make you suffer ever since you set foot on the islands. You will encounter dangers such as pirates and monsters that reduce your health level in the course of exploration. You must know how to heal yourself to keep on moving through the islands, or you are dead.
Four primary methods of restoring your health and knowing when to apply each will have you not resuming on the beach. This guide will discuss the usage of objects and gameplay to recuperate your life.

Making and wearing bandages
The Bandage is the first healing object that you will probably create. This can be made at a Workbench with a single piece of Coarse Fabric. Its use replenishes 900 of your health in 30 seconds. The materials are cheap but you need to take care when you are using them. When you are struck by an enemy when the Bandage is at work, the healing is instantly checked. You should use them when you have secured a safe place or when you are over with a fight.
Making Health Potions at the Alchemy Table
Minor Healing Potion or regular Healing Potion should be used to heal during a fight. These products revitalize your health by a percentage instantly, without delay. You have to locate a Misty Orchid on a second island to open the Alchemy Table in order to begin making them. A Clay Bottle will also be necessary to prepare an Alchemical Base, which is the primary base of all potions.

You can also find Healing Herbs in chests in Ancient Ruins, in case you want to make the more powerful one. Unless you have constructed the table so far, you can frequently find these potions when you loot chests in the world.
The Rally Mechanic in Battle
Rally mechanic is a healing that pays to be aggressive. Whenever you are hurt by a foe, you can recover a little of that health by striking him back immediately. This method has no items, and no cooldowns. There is not much time to lose, you need to hurry, the time to recover your health is quite limited. You will miss the opportunity to heal, in case you retreat or delay. This is an excellent habit to acquire at an early age in order to save your things to deal with larger emergencies.

Resting at Bonfires
In case you have cleared a space and only need to fill up your health bar, then you can use a Bonfire. You may install one of these on just about any island. Only being in the vicinity of the fires will gradually restore your health to the pinnacle.
There are no supplies of your crafting used in this method, making it quite reliable. Working requires some time, thus it is not useful when enemies are still in the vicinity. Wear between fights or when you are busy sorting through the contents of your bag.
