For those of you who cringe at all the gore and violence in games today, there is an alternative. Greg Hastings Paintball 2 is a downloadable title for PSN, also released on Wii and Xbox 360, where you can safely perform virtual carnage. Complete with protective gear and fake mayhem splattering all over the screen, this virtual environment couldn’t be more controlled, unless you padded your house.

The only thing I don’t understand is why in an already fake world, you’d have a need for creating a fake experience. I guess some purists want their make believe environment to be as real as possible within their other fictional environment, so that they can genuinely experience their fantasy. It’s like an Inception level so deep; I’m having trouble doing the math. Hey, big surprise, we got a trailer!
