So, money in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is very important, naturally enough. And you won't get much aside from the main quests since selling things you might naturally acquire will be very slow and low in value. When reselling, it's even worse. However, there are a few nifty ways you can do this.

Smithing

One of the most effective ways to get money is by getting yourself some material and smithing equipment and selling it. This is something you can also do while in-between waiting for stolen items to clear out. The more you do it, the more perks you can gain to improve your output. This is also superior to potion-making through the alchemy bench because they're way cheaper, except for one exception.

Alchemy

The final, and I would say the best way to make money in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is by making potions. The best potion to make is the Marigold Decorations. A strong Marigold Decoration costs about 50 Groschens, and you can easily get the recipe for it.

If you keep at it, you'll also get perks and naturally make more each batch. It requires 1 nettle and 2 marigolds to make, which you can easily gather, or if you're lazy, buy/steal from Apothecaries. Now, every batch, after a while, will get you 2-3 Marigold Decorations, with the later ones going up to 6. At a 50 base price, you'll effectively get 100 Groschens per batch early on. With each batch taking around 1-2 minutes to prepare, you can see how you'll basically be swimming in money in no time.

Stealing

Now, this one is probably the easiest way you can get Groschen in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. But be warned, this is not your cup of tea if you're here for the immersion or want to just not be a bad guy. The best time to do this is during nighttime when everyone is asleep. Go into their houses, Pickpocket their key while they sleep, and loot their chests and wardrobes. Take the most valuable things, rinse and repeat.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, taking loot from dead people is also considered stolen, so you can't tell that either. After big fights, you should primarily focus on chalices, spurs, potions, and armor from enemies, in that order.

Stolen Items can't be sold at most places. To really sell them, you need to either store them in your personal chest for a few weeks in-game or sell them at a fence. The first option is the most effective, if a little lengthy. You can most likely sleep it off or do some minor quests. To speed this up, you can go for the 'Trafficker' perk.

Archery Competitions

You can also partake in Archery competitions; you naturally learn about them during the quest that gets you Mutt. Early on, you'll only be able to get 10-20 Groschens out of it. However, after a few times you do it, you'll be able to take on experienced archers and bet more.
