Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has many new features. One of them is the new food poisoning system. Here, if you eat rotten or spoiled food, you'll get Food Poisoning. All food items have a number representing their quality. If the number is red, you'll get food poisoning.

Food poisoning reduces health over time, so it's best to avoid it. You should avoid food with less than 50 hearts. If extremely necessary, you can still eat the ones in the 40-50 range, but anything below should not be eaten at all costs.

Another method of preventing Food Poisoning is to keep your inventory filled with dried food, as it's easy to obtain and carry and doesn't spoil easily.

How to cure Food Poisoning in kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The best way to cure food poisoning is to sleep in a bed. When you sleep, the Food Poisoning will go away automatically over time. You also don't lose any health, as sleeping restores health.

The second way is to craft Digestive Potions. While you can buy them, it's just easier to prepare them yourself. You should get two thistles, one nettle, and a charcoal. The recipe is as follows:

  • Add 2 Thistle
  • Boil for 2 minutes
  • Grind 1 Nettle and add it to the cauldron
  • Boil for 1 minute
  • Grin 1 Charcoal and add it to the cauldron
  • Pour into Phial

The Digestive Potion will reduce your nourishment while curing you of Food Poisoning. It will also give you two extra Vitality, so that's helpful to have.
