CD Projekt RED's second episode of Night City Wire was a huge success. Showing off combat, lifepaths, and the soundtrack of Cyberpunk 2077. Confirming what tools players can use to conquer the upcoming challenges in both Night City and the Badlands.
First off, players will have access to 3 lifepaths at the beginning of the game.
Street Kid
V will have extensive knowledge of Night City's criminal underworld. Allowing V to use that information to understand and deduce how these people operate. For example, certain paths will only be available due to V's knowledge of how local criminal gangs operate.
Nomad
Shown to have extremely profound family connections the people of the Badlands are put family first. V, for no explanation at the moment, decides to leave the Badlands for a new start in Night City. It's hinted that his family has been killed but we'll have to wait and see.
Corporate
V has grown in ranks within the Arasaka company. Having knowledge of the corporate world gives V an inside look at reading in between the lines when making deals with people of the higher class. However, the trade-off is that both the Badlands and Streets will be more foreign to V.
V will have an extensive array of weapons to choose from. Weapons are categorized as Common, Uncommon, Epic, and Legendary. With Legendary weapons having access to unique benefits. You can find weapons from killing enemies, loot chests, and purchase them from vendors.
V can choose from 3 categories of projectile weapons; Tech, Power, and Smart. Tech packs a huge punch and can penetrate walls, Smart weapons have guided bullets, and Power weapons can ricochet.
V will also have access to melee weapons, throwables, weapon mods, and Cyberware weapons which are build-in weapons part of V's body.
The soundtrack will feature an extensive interview with Dennis Lyxzen as he explains the trying steps to capture the futuristic sounds of Cyberpunk 2077. With constant retries to capture the perfect notes for Johnny Silverhand. A Like Supreme, the latest song, is now available to listen to.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on November 19th for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
