Dysterra, a multiplayer sci-fi shooter being developed by Reality MagiQ, will have a global beta test in May, according to Kakao Games and developer Reality MagiQ.
Dysterra is a massively multiplayer online game set in a dystopian future after the Terrafire, a giant pillar of fire that erupted when mankind started mining the Earth's core. It combines first-person shooting with survival and crafting aspects. Survival is a race against the clock as the planet's life expectancy is dwindling.
The worldwide beta test will include intense combat using a variety of melee and handgun weaponry. To meet the game's beta phase, the more demanding crafting criteria (reducing the entrance barrier for shelter buildings, for example) have been adjusted. Kakao Games and developer Reality MagiQ wanted involvement to promote player engagement. Additionally, there will be a greater emphasis on battle and base employment as a means of obtaining particular talents.
Based on input from the game's fans, players can discover more hit satisfaction, an improved UI, and more development of motion-capture animations. Currently, Dysterra's official Steam page has a 'Request Access' button for the multiplayer beta, which will run from May 4 to 17.
