PlayStation Store is getting a new feature all over the world. It will get rid of some of the confusion in the PS5 store and help people choose what to buy. The PS Store has slowly gotten better over the years that the PS5 has been out. There is now a new update that makes it easier to see prices. A game's page on the PlayStation Store now shows its original price.

This lets people easily see how the deals right now stack up against the price when it first came out. Sony is sending this fix to everyone in the world. On the store page for a game, the start price will now show up above the price that it is on sale for right now. The Last of Us Part One is currently on sale for £31, but you can see above that the price originally cost £70.

You can see the game's original price by clicking "launch price."

It was on sale for at least 30 days at this price. You can tell right away how big a deal a discount really is thanks to this small but important change. The game's starting price is shown next to its price over the last 30 days on the PS Store. People have been able to use that tool to keep up with short-term price changes since October of last year.

The storefront now gives you a better idea of the game's price history without you having to leave the app or go to other websites. It shows both the launch price and the most recent lowest price. We can quickly tell from now on whether a deal is a real steal or just a small price decrease. All of these things help you better understand the PlayStation Store.

A lot of people think that the new information might be needed by law in some places, but everyone is glad it's there. If you know more about start prices, you can choose what to buy more wisely. And this is especially true during big sales, when deals may seem better than they are. Along with how much a game costs now, it's good to know how much it cost when it first came out.

There may have been some users who could use the tool since December, but now more people in more places can use it.

This update is another example of how Sony is slowly making the digital storefront experience better. It will soon be the rule everywhere. You'll feel a lot better about your choice when you compare prices and try to decide whether to buy now or wait for a better deal after these small changes.

You no longer have to guess what a game cost in the past because start prices are now clearer, and the player interface keeps track of recent low prices. We can decide for ourselves after looking at the store page. PlayStation Store takes another step forward as it continues to roll out around the world. Each time you log in, your shopping experience will be better because you will know more about it.
