In Anno 117: Pax Romana, you earn and spend more than Denarii. Fame acts as a separate currency that allows you to unlock cosmetic upgrades for your cities.

You can get these upgrades in systems like the Hall of Fame, where you can trade Fame points for customization and appearance choices. If you understand how Fame works, you can plan for long-term progress as the city grows.

Fame Usage

You use Fame to unlock cosmetic content that affects how your cities look rather than how they function. By spending Fame, you can purchase Gods, ornaments, governor portraits, and related extras.

All Fame is earned through gameplay tasks called Accolades, which track progress across different playstyles in Anno 117: Pax Romana.

Earn Fame Through Accolades

Fame is earned by completing Accolades, which are organized into groups of nine quests. Each group has a titled theme, and every completed Accolade awards between 15 and 50 Fame points.

Completing all nine quests within a single Accolade group grants an additional 90 Fame points. Some Accolades also count as Achievements, allowing you to progress both systems at the same time in Anno 117: Pax Romana.

To view your Accolades and your performance, click your profile picture in the top center of the screen. This menu lists the tasks currently underway and those completed. It also shows the Fame rewards that come with each Accolade group.

Accolades Fame Rewards

By completing all Accolades, you can earn a total of 3,175 Fame. The Fame rewards are divided as follows: Visionary Architect grants 290 Fame, Efficient Economist grants 275 Fame, and Farsighted Administrator grants 290 Fame.

Tactful Diplomat grants 290 Fame, Ultimate Victor grants 325 Fame, Keen Listener grants 290 Fame, Steadfast Governor grants 290 Fame, Insightful Sage grants 290 Fame, Ninefold Annotator grants 275 Fame, Loyal Roman grants 270 Fame, and Indomitable Celt grants 290 Fame.
