Here’s a guide on how to get Ferrium Ore in Arknights: Endfield.

The Originium Science Park area is the only place where you can find Ferrium. Follow the main story through the eastern tunnel to get to this area.

Where to Find Ferrium Nodes

There are a few good spots to find this ore. You can find nodes right by the entrance to the area or further east in Arknights: Endfield.

There is also a spot on the Cliffside Trail at the top right of the map that has four nodes grouped together. To get there, you just have to follow the path through the eastern passageway as the story tells you to.

Unlocking the Right Technology

You cannot mine Ferrium Ore with your old gear. You have to keep playing the main story with Yvonne until you unlock Basic AIC 3.

This will let you learn Mining 3 in your technology tree. Once you have that, you can build the Electric Mining Rig MK2. This is the only machine that can break Ferrium Ore. When you unlock this tech, the game gives you three of these rigs for free to get you started.

Powering the Mining Rigs

Before you can mine, you need electricity. First, finish the quest called Outpost Infra Station to unlock the base in the Science Park. Once the station is ready, run wires to Relay Towers to bring power to the nodes in Arknights: Endfield.

If you are trying to reach nodes that are too far for towers, you can use the Electric Pylon upgrade. This lets you chain pylons every 30 meters to carry power deep into the cliffs.

Mining Efficiency

The Electric Mining Rig MK2 works at the same speed as the first one. It pulls in one ore every three seconds. You do not need to replace your old rigs at your main base because the speed is the same.

Only use the MK2 rigs for the new Ferrium nodes. You can then take this ore back to your base to turn it into Ferrium Parts for better gear in Arknights: Endfield.
