Here’s a guide on how to get Kalkonyx in Arknights: Endfield.

To raise your weapon level beyond the starting cap of 20, you must perform a process called tuning. This requires specific, rare ores that grow in the world over time.

Just like character promotion materials, these ores have a long respawn rate, so collecting them whenever they are available is the best way to keep your team strong.

Tuning Weapons to Level 40

To move from level 20 to level 40, you need Kalkonyx. You will need three of these ores to tune a single weapon. In the main hub area, there is only one primary spot for this. Look for a map icon that looks like a small observatory or planetarium in Arknights: Endfield.

This marks the Rare Ores location. When you arrive, look for crystal-like nodes sticking out of the ground. While they all appear at once the first time you visit, they grow back one by one over the next six days.

Finding Kalkonyx in Other Regions

If you need more than the first few nodes provide, you can head to the Valley Pass region. There is a cave system in the Valley Fort area that contains six more nodes.

You can also find a cluster of six Kalkonyx in the Quarry, which is located at the bottom right of the hub. To mine the Amethyst nearby, you will need to run power lines, but you can jump down to the rare ore nodes and break them manually at any time.

Final Kalkonyx Locations

The last place you can easily find Kalkonyx is in the Originium Science Park. After you progress through the main story, you will reach a spot at the top of this region with more rare ore nodes.

This should provide enough material to finish tuning the weapons for your main team of four operators in Arknights: Endfield.
