In Arknights: Endfield, you need a good setup to farm ores and craft items. The basic ways the game teaches you are often slow or take up too much room. You can make things much faster by using better machines and smarter layouts.

Better Mining Tools

You start the game with the Portable Rig, but it is not very good. You should play the story until you get the Electric Mining Rig. These are way better because they send ores to your base on their own.

Find ore spots on your map and put these rigs on the nodes. You should try to fill every node you find because you will need many resources in Arknights: Endfield.

Sending Power to Rigs

The rigs need power to work. You have to run a line from your base using Relay Towers. Place a Relay Tower every 80m until you get to the mining area.

Once you are there, put down an Electric Pylon. Look for the blue circle to make sure it touches the rigs. Connect the power from the tower to the pylon, and the drills will start sending ore to your depot every ten seconds.

Smart Refining

Do not use three conveyor belts for one Refining Unit. It is a waste of space because the machine can only hold 50 items in Arknights: Endfield.

One belt going in and one belt going out is enough to keep it busy. When you build, leave a one-block gap between the machine and the storage. You can put an Electric Pylon in that gap. This keeps your base clean and makes sure everything has power.

Faster Crafting

The game will eventually ask you to make the Amethyst Component using a Gearing Unit. Do not use the pre-made blueprints because they are slow. Instead, set your storage to output Origocrust and Amethyst Fiber.

Place the Gearing Unit near these outputs and use belts to feed it. It will make a new part every ten seconds. This is the best way to get enough materials for the AIC Light Gear Pack.

Using the Molding Unit

You can do the same thing with the Molding Unit to make items like the Amethyst Bottle. Set your storage to release Amethyst Fiber and lead it into the machine in Arknights: Endfield.

Place another Electric Pylon in the corner gap to save space. If you set it up this way, you can gather hundreds of items quickly to upgrade your gear and stats.
