Here’s a guide on how to get Steel Blueprints in Arknights: Endfield.

Building a factory for Steel, Steel Parts, and Steel Bottles is easy because the layout is small and compact. You can fit these machines into tight spaces and connect them to other parts of your base. Since Steel relies on Sand Leaf Powder, you should start by building a separate farm for that material.

Constructing a Sand Leaf Powder Farm

It is better to build your Sand Leaf Powder farm away from your main machines, so you have more room. To start, place a Seed Picking Unit with the arrows pointing from left to right.

Put a Planting Unit two blocks away, also facing right. Next to that, place a Shredding Unit followed by a Protocol Stash to store your goods in Arknights: Endfield.

Set up Electric Pylons by the shredder and between the planting units for power. Use Conveyor Belts to link the Seed Picking Unit and Planting Unit in a loop.

To speed things up, put 50 Sand Leaf Seeds in the planter and 50 Sand Leaf Seeds in the picker. Once the machines are full, run a line to the Shredding Unit and then connect three lines into the Protocol Stash.

Setting Up the Steel Factory

To produce Steel, you need three Depot Unloaders. Set the two on the right to output Refined Farium and the one on the left to output Sand Leaf Powder. Place two Shredding Units in front of the Farium unloaders. Put a Grinding Unit in front of those shredders to mix the materials.

In front of the grinder, place a Refining Unit facing from right to left with a one-block gap. If you want Steel Parts, place a Fitting Unit in front.

If you need Steel Bottles, use a Molding Unit instead. Place a Protocol Stash facing back toward the unloaders and put an Electric Pylon behind it to provide power.

Connecting the Assembly Line

Link the Farium unloaders to the shredders, then run those belts into the Grinding Unit. Connect the Sand Leaf Powder unloader directly to the grinder as well. Run a belt from the Grinding Unit to the Refining Unit to create Steel.

You can split the output from the Refining Unit so one belt goes to the Protocol Stash and another goes to the Fitting Unit in Arknights: Endfield.

This allows you to make Steel and Steel Parts at the same time. If you need a lot of parts quickly, remove the direct line to the stash so the Fitting Unit gets all the material. This simple setup is very efficient and can fill your inventory with thousands of items while you are away.
