To make high-level gear, you need to make Xiranite Components. You need fifty of these for each piece of level 70 gear, so it's a good idea to build a factory just for them.
This layout has a Forge of the Sky that makes Xiranite and a different line that makes Packed Origocrust. If you put these together in a Gearing Unit, you'll always have parts on hand. This design works well and keeps your storage full without being too hard to use.
Processing Ore and Origocrust
Start on the right side of your base. Put two Depot Unloaders in place and set them both to Originium Ore. You should have a lot of this resource in this area.
To make Origocrust, connect these unloaders to two Refining Units. Then, in Arknights: Endfield, put Shredding Units in front of the refiners to turn the crust into powder.

There needs to be a single Grinding Unit that both shredders feed into. Put a Pylon over the shredders to give them power and keep the factory running.
After the Grinding Unit is done, send the product to a Refining Unit with the top facing up. Last, put your Gearing Unit two blocks away, facing left. To get the first half of the recipe it needs, connect the refiner to the Gearing Unit.
How to Set Up the Sandleaf Loop
You need a Sandleaf farm to the left of your Gearing Unit for the powders to work. Put a Planting Unit on the right, a Seed Picking Unit on the left, and another Planting Unit on the right.
Important: Turn off the water intake for both Planting Units in the settings. If the water is on, sandleaf won't grow.
Put the units in a loop so that they keep planting themselves. To start the cycle, put your Sandleaf or Sandle Leaf Seeds into the picker. To power this part of Arknights: Endfield, put a Pylon one block away from the Gearing Unit.

Put a Shredding Unit one block away from the bottom plant to get the output. This machine grinds Sandleaf into powder. From here, run a Transfer Belt all the way up to the Grinding Unit you built in the first step.
Making Carbon and Xiranite
Now you need the second half of the recipe. Put two Grinding Units on the ground with the Pylon on the left. Each one needs to go to its own Refining Unit.
After that, these refiners will go to the Forge of the Sky. Put the forge on the left and hook it up to your water source.
To get Carbon, put two Shredding Units and a Refining Unit below the grinders. Use a Planting Unit and a Seed Picking Unit to build a Carbon farm to the left. This farm needs water, so connect it to your pipes.
Here, use seeds from Jincao or Yazhen. You can shred two Carbon from one plant into powder. Send this powder to your two best Grinding Units in Arknights: Endfield.

Putting things together and storing them
The last step is to put everything together. Get the Sandleaf Powder from your farm and cut the line so that it goes to the two new Grinding Units as well.
This one farm now sends all three of your factory's grinders. The grinders will turn Dense Carbon Powder into Stabilized Carbon.
You will get Xiranite when the Stabilized Carbon and water get to the Forge of the Sky. Put a conveyor belt from the forge to the Gearing Unit. It will start making Xiranite Components now that it has both Xiranite and Packed Origocrust.
In Arknights: Endfield, put a Protocol Stash to the right of the Gearing Unit and lead the finished product straight into it to save your hard work.
