Cyberpunk 2077 Guide | All 13 Perk Shards Locations

Perk Shards are limited, rare pieces of material in Cyberpunk 2077 and bestow on players a single point of perks without the need for leveling up. You get 2 perk points out of each perk shard. There are 13 of them scattered around Night City and Dogtown, and they can be claimed from secret points, from corpses, and even when rewarded for defeating enemies.

Below are the steps and map for acquiring the 13 Perk Shards, their location, background, and where exactly they can be claimed.

Watson: Biotechnica Warehouse (Kyle and Support)

The first of the Perk Shards can be found in Watson, Industrial District, inside a Biotechnica warehouse on its eastern border. Outside, the remains of the gangsters of the Maelstrom are present, and there has been a fight there recently.

Inside the warehouse, there are two drones and a turret defending it, so be on your guard. There are two palletized pallets of boxes in the warehouse's rear, with a note and a perk shard on one of them from Kyle, who had been working on sourcing assistance for his broken-up drone.

Westbrook: Japantown Underpass (Seamus Sawicki and Toru)

Fast travel into Dark Matter, Japantown, then east into the underpass, where there's a modern ambush. The snapshot depicts a group of besieged Tiger Claws encircling a V4 Alvarado. Seamus Sawicki, an Animal gang bouncer, is inside with a suspicious parcel.

The parcel of merchandise discovered inside the trunk of the vehicle has been confirmed to be Toru Inagaki's, a deceased Animal gang member and former Tiger Claw. Looting Toru's body will result in a perk shard.

City Center: Corpo Plaza Metro Station (Militech Incident)

Go to Corpo Plaza and look for the PetetCam building. In front of it, there's a taped-off metro station guarded by Militech soldiers. This place is linked with one of the greatest controversies of the game, with poison Nomads and Project Nightingale. Clear Militech forces and loot their corpses for gear, armor, and a Perk Shard.

City Center: Rooftop near Metro Station (Cindy Hogan and John)

Fast-forward to the Santo Republic subway station, then proceed west until two air conditioning units can be seen. Scale the top of the first, then jump onto the rooftop. Construction worker Cindy Hogan had been attempting to steal a very valuable piece of technology for John.

The piece of technology being referred to happened to be a Perk Shard, which can be plundered from Cindy's body.

Heywood: H2 Mega Building Alley (Xavi and Fatima)

Make your way down towards Heywood's H2 Mega Building, then down your right-hand road, where there's a cab and a single vehicle. There has been a fight on 6th Street and Valentinos between two individuals who could not seal a vehicle sale.

The leader, Xavi, had struck a deal with celebrity mechanic Jake Steas, but this did not quite materialize—Scavenge boxes there for a Perk Shard.

Santo Domingo: Arasaka Industrial Park (Command Tower)

Visit Santo Domingo's fortifications warehousing complex in Arasaka. Your target destination is the Command Spire, and this can be located in the complex's corner. Enter and explore the second floor, where there's a briefcase with a Perk Shard on one of the desks.

The legendary gun of Arasaka, the Shingen Mark 5, can also be discovered in a neighboring reloading bay.

Santo Domingo: Red Dirt Bar (Hillary McKenna and Jimmy Kreutz)

Head south of the Red Dirt Bar in Arroyo and find Hillary McKenna's 6th Street-controlled combat cab. There had been a brawl with Jimmy Kreutz, a race competitor on the streets who disapproved of cab customization.

The brawl went bad, and outside of the bar, Jimmy had been murdered. Scavenge the remains for a Perk Shard.

Santo Domingo: Rancho Coronado Shack (Jake's Stash)

In Rancho Coronado, there's a shanty made of wood on the Street of Woodhaven. Enter and discover a peddler, Jake, from the neighborhood, who had dealt with children for peddling drugs illegally. There's a note on his dead body where his secret location can be discovered, and this can be concealed in a garage on the Street of Manzanita.

The code for entry is 1313. There, kill 6th Street gangsters securing the spot and take a Perk Shard from inventory.

Badlands: Rocky Ridge Crash Site (Darius and Madison)

Fast-forward to Edgewood Farm, then down the road around the location, where tire tracks can be viewed swerving towards the left. The tracks approach a crashed car with a hovering drone.

A news reporter, Darius, can be heard inside the crashed car, where he had been investigating a military installation and had been killed when he couldn't escape. Scavenge the remains of the drone and find a Perk Shard.

Badlands: Rocky Ridge Wraith Camp (Bruce Ward)

From Edgewood Farm, proceed east up the hill and discover a stronghold of the Wraith gang. The stronghold has been claimed by notorious raider and corporate raider Bruce Ward.

The encampment has illicit biotech waste recycled for unknown purposes. Clear the Wraith and plunder Bruce's remains for a second Perk Shard.

Dogtown: Stadium Garage (EBM Petrochem Stadium)

In Dogtown, begin the Phantom Liberty expansion and head into EBM Petrochem Stadium for the very first concert. There are abandoned dens in the basement garage with loot and a stashed-out Perk Shard. To access this, approach the stadium, proceed up and towards the left, drive into the sedan, and find the piece in the trunk.

Dogtown: Stadium Market (Marcin and Michal)

Inside the EBM Petrochem Stadium, there's also a bazaar with traders of different sorts. There's a shop owner, Marcin Iwiński, who's an Easter egg for the creator of CD Projekt Red. There's a 72-hour sensory deprivation shard for sale, and this is a Perk Shard.

Dogtown: Longshore Stacks (Hidden Container)

At Longshore Stacks, proceed directly to the waypoint and towards the huge tree. Head towards your right; there's a yellow fence on the second. Head up and down the hall and proceed down until you're in front of a locked gate.

There's a crate hidden there inside a stack of destructible boxes. Break them up, and there's a secret Perk Shard.

Final Thoughts

Finding all 13 of the Perk Shards will drastically increase the abilities of V, even without them being leveled up. The shards, whether stashed away in junked-out buildings, gang fight points, or locked inside caches, are worth their weight in gold and must be sought.
