There are 177 entries in the world database in Echoes of Aincrad, and completing them will take up almost the entire map. This guide explains what that means.

Covering the Whole Map

You must play both levels of the game to complete each entry. This includes the entire overworld, all of the towns, and most of the dungeons throughout the world. You can't skip around here. Every new area you enter will be added to the database individually, so you don't have to do any extra menu work. All you have to do is go to each location.

Don't Skip the Shortcuts

Shortcuts are one of the things that can get people in trouble. Be sure to unlock all of them you find, as many of them are located behind them in easy-to-miss locations. These shortcuts can also take you to optional corners of the map, so if you lock one, you'll probably miss the entry that is connected to it.

Taking Your Time

The quickest way to miss entries is to rush through areas. Take your time and inspect all side paths and hidden corners before proceeding to the next zone. You'll have all 177 entries completed by the end of the process, either by exploring both floors or by unlocking all the shortcuts.
