Echoes of Aincrad Guide | How to Get True Ending

After the credits roll, there's more to discover in Echoes of Aincrad. The first time you beat the game, you get the standard ending, but immediately after, a harder path is available. This guide will take you through the steps you need to take to get to that true ending.

Continuing After the First Ending

After reading the story and watching the credits, don't turn off the game. Load your save file and continue playing. This is the easy part that starts the next part of the game. You will get a new story mission you were not able to access before, and a new boss fight as well.

Preparing for the Fight

Before you embark on this mission, be aware that the boss you will encounter is much harder than the one you encountered at the end of the main story. It's a big step up in difficulty. For this reason, it is important to prepare your character first. Upgrade your equipment, complete some side quests, and level up before entering. These steps will make the battle much easier to handle.

Reaching the True Ending

When you feel ready, take on the new mission and defeat the boss at the end of it. This is the final battle to be fought. If the boss is defeated, the full story of Echoes of Aincrad will be completed with the true ending.
