All Collectible & Locations
Collectibles Overview
- Nornir Chests: 2
- Legendary Chests: 1
- Lore: 1
- Artifacts: 2
- Odin's Ravens: 1
- Hel Tears: 1
- Remnants of Asgard: 1
During your initial visit to this area, certain skills required to access some collectibles won't yet be available.
1 – Odin's Raven
Right after stepping out of the Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway (portal), turn to your left. You'll spot a green raven perched on a rock. Aim your axe and throw it to take the raven down. You can also hear its distinctive metallic screech, making it easier to locate. If this happens to be your first raven, it will unlock the "Eyes of Odin" Favor, which involves finding all 48 of Odin's Ravens.
2 – Artifact (Things Left Behind – Hreidmar's Brassard)
Continue rowing the boat until you reach a water wheel. On the right side of the wheel, you'll notice a geyser. Throw your axe to freeze it, then jump over. Afterward, turn right and find another geyser. Freeze this one as well, then use the grapple point on the wall behind it to climb to the top of a rock. There, you'll find the artifact glowing purple next to a corpse.
3 – Nornir Chest
In the same location as the artifact, you'll find the Nornir Chest after dropping down from the rock where you picked up the artifact. To unlock the chest, you need to destroy three seals marked with glowing blue glyphs.
- The first seal is on the hill where the artifact was found.
- The second seal is directly behind the Nornir chest, located on a small island.
- The third seal is to the right of the chest, sitting on a small rock.
Destroy all three seals by throwing your axe at them, and you'll be able to open the chest.
4 – Hel Tear (Frozen Spark)
From the location of the Nornir Chest, climb up the scaffold to the right of the geysers, then slide down the rope. Once you land, you'll find a large green portal. Interact with it by holding Square. This will trigger waves of enemies that you must defeat.
Note: This collectible is not accessible during your first visit. Hel Tears become available starting from Story Mission 12: Reunion. You'll need to return to this area later in the story or after completing it.
5 – Nornir Chest
Row north until you find an opening on the left side of the river. Press Circle to pass through and reach a hidden area. Dock your boat, find the Nornir Chest, and match the glyphs by spinning three posts:
- First Post: Behind a geyser to the right of the chest. Hit it until the chest glyph stops glowing blue.
- Second Post: Grapple up the path left of the chest, then turn right to see it on the rocks.
- Third Post: Drop to the lower area at the back to find it on the rocks.
Once all three glyphs match, open the chest.
6 – Legendary Chest (Deadly Obsidian Handles – Blade Attachment)
After unlocking the Nornir Chest, grapple up to the left (where the second glyph was). Turn left, and you'll spot the Legendary Chest on the cliffs, offering a great view of the river.
7 – Lore (Lore Marker – Unsafe Roads)
From the Legendary Chest, turn around and drop down at the end of the path (not where you came from). To the left, you'll find a stone tablet with glowing blue text. Interact with it to collect the Lore.
8 – Artifact (Kvasir's Poems – The Sunrise of Nothingness)
On the next island, after freezing the geysers and using the elevator, you'll find the artifact on a small table next to a chain you need to pull for the story. It glows purple and is hard to miss along the main path.
9 – Remnants of Asgard
Go to the location where you can see an opening on the left side of the river. Press Circle to pass through and reach a hidden area. Dock your boat, and you'll be ambushed by waves of enemies. Defeat them to complete the Remnants of Asgard activity.
Note: This only spawns after finishing the main story. Once cleared, drop down the ledge to the right to find a red reward chest with Hacksilver and remnant materials. The main enemy also drops a scroll, which isn't a collectible but can be retrieved later from the blue chest at the blacksmith if missed.
That concludes the full list of collectibles you can find in the Aurvangar Wetlands area in God of War Ragnarök.
