During your initial visit to this area, certain skills required to access some collectibles won't yet be available.

How to unlock full Lyngbakr Island:

To unlock the Island, head over to Lyngbakr Island by boat. Upon setting foot on the Island, the quest "Favor: The Weight of Chains" will start automatically. Follow the objectives in the quest to unlock the Island fully. Begin by destroying the explosive vase hidden between the rubble on the right side. Next, take out the Wretch nest, climb upwards, and destroy another explosive vase on the right. Proceed along the path behind it and climb further up. Here, you'll find a wheel; turn it to lower the elevator. While turning the wheel, throw your axe at the cog to freeze it in place, keeping the elevator steady.

Return to where you started climbing, but this time, climb all the way to the elevator. Once there, retrieve your axe to ride the elevator up. When you're at the top, use the circle button to smash through the floor. Defeat the enemies you encounter and open the red chest to acquire the key. After that, head back to your boat and row over to The Watchtower, which will be marked with a favor icon.

At The Watchtower, clear the rubble by detonating another explosive vase, climb up, and use the key to unlock the gate. Then, Interact with the bell and prompt Atreus to shoot an arrow at it, revealing the full island. You can now return to Lyngbakr Island by docking your boat again and begin collecting items.

#1 – Lore (Lore Marker – Regarding the Removal of Resources)

On Lyngbakr Island, your objective is to break three chains and use your axe to destroy the locks on the Lyngbakr's fins. As you progress through the quest, don't forget to pick up any collectibles you come across. After taking out the first lock, follow the only available path. When you climb up the golden chain, turn right to see the Lore.

#2 – Artifact (Kvasir's Poems – We Who Remain, Part the Second)

From the location where you found Lore, head left and climb up the wall. Once at the top, turn left again and follow the path all the way to the end. You'll find the purple glowing artifact waiting there. This spot marks the very top of Lyngbakr Island.

#3 – Odin's Raven

Return to the Lore Marker, but this time, use the grappling hook to swing across the gap. Climb down the golden chain on your left, where you'll find another Wretch Nest to destroy. Doing that will reveal an explosive vase that you can pick up and throw. Lift the gate to your left, grab one of the explosives, and head back to the Lore Marker. Throw the explosive at the rubble near the gold chain leading to the Lore Marker to clear the path. Jump across the gap, and you'll find a small tunnel to the right of a red chest. Go through the tunnel, turn left, and you'll spot the Raven sitting on the ledge.

#4 – Legendary Chest (Rönd of Aggravation – Shield Attachment)

Continue following the favor objectives. Head back to the vase holding explosives, grab one, and throw it at the rubble on the right. Grab another explosive and take it along the newly cleared path. Look down at the water to spot a boat dock with more rubble on it. Throw the explosive to clear the rubble at that dock. Afterward, return to your boat and sail to the dock you just cleared. From there, climb up, defeat the enemies, and cut the third chain.

Next, slide down the rope to break the third lock. Once you finish the rope slide, the Legendary Chest will be right in front of you. It's impossible to miss as it's in plain sight after breaking the third lock.

#5 – Favor: The Weight of Chains

To complete this in the region overview, simply finish the favor. After breaking the third lock, all that's left is to row your boat back to the eye of the Island.
