Gothic 1 Remake Guide | How to Complete Vanished Warder Quest

Here’s a guide on how to complete the Vanished Warder Quest in Gothic 1 Remake.

You can pick up a Quest called The Vanished Warder at the settlement. Start your search at the front gate of Old Camp. Turn right and walk over to an NPC named Sly who is sitting nearby. Talk to him to learn about a missing man named Nek and to get the job added to your Map.

Searching the Cave

To find the missing person, you need to head toward a different gate on the other side of the fortress. Leave the area through this exit and walk toward the mounds of dirt in front of you.

Watch out because you will need to fight three Molerats along this path. Defeat them and enter the small cavern nearby in Gothic 1 Remake.

Finding the Body and Items

Walk into the dark space to find the remains of Nek. Search the body to pick up a specific Item called Amulet Of Nek. Look around on the ground in the dark area to also find a weapon called Withering Axe. Grab both things before you leave.

Completing the Quest

Open your Map to check your path and head back to the settlement. Find Sly at his usual spot and speak with him. Give him the Amulet of Nek to prove what happened. This finishes The Vanished Warder and rewards you with XP in Gothic 1 Remake.
