Metaphor: ReFantazio | Follower Guide – Heismay

Metaphor: ReFantazio is out, and it's amazing the game inherits or otherwise builds on many mechanics from Persona and SMT. One such mechanic is the companion system, or as the game calls it, Followers. Followers are your natural companions, who you fight and spend time with, and who let you give some benefits for doing so. In this guide, you will get an overview of Heismay Noctule.

Heismay is a fallen knight and someone who’s pretty shady, all things considered. You need Eloquence level 2 if you want to talk to him. You mostly speak to him in the gauntlet runner or at night.

 

Heismay Rank Progression

• Rank 1: Achieved naturally as you unlock him on 07/04
• Rank 2:  Respond with the following when prompted –
  • One more time
  • Let’s find his place
  • It’s a favor for a friend.
• Rank 3:  Respond with the following when prompted
  • Shall we look somewhere else?
  • Well, he’d not be lonely
  • No problem.
  • But it is my concern.
  • I know it’s difficult.
  • Let’s go already.
• Rank 4:  Respond with the following when prompted –
  • I don’t mind.
  • Adorable.
  • Show yourself.
• Rank 5:  While in the gauntlet runner, respond with the following when prompted –
  • Is that why you left?
  • There’s nobility in that.
  • So you’re giving up?
  • I’m coming with you
• Rank 6:  Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Taken it out of the village.
  • Just as you deduced!
  • Let’s talk to them.
• Rank 7: Prompted when you have Imagination level 4. Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Things can change.
  • We support you
• Rank 8:  While in the gauntlet runner, respond with the following when prompted –
  • Where is it?
  • I’m sure he’d want that.
  • I’m honored.

Heismay Rank Rewards

• Rank 1: You can now study the Thief
• Rank 2: Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Thiefs. Heismay also displays the location of strong enemies on dungeon maps.
• Rank 3: You can now study the Assassin.
• Rank 4: Increases the skill inheritance slots for Thief Archetype to 2.
• Rank 5: Further reduces MAG cost of studying the Thief. His experience gain is increased when in reserve.
• Rank 6: Increases the skill inheritance slots for Thief Archetype to 3. His experience gain will now be at the normal rate when in reserve.
• Rank 7: You can now study the Ninja.
• Rank 8: Increases the skill inheritance slots for Thief Archetype to 4. His ambush damage against stunned enemies is greatly increased. Gets the ability to study their unique Royal Archetype when available.
