Metaphor: ReFantazio | Follower Guide – Junah

Metaphor: ReFantazio is out, and it's amazing the game inherits or otherwise builds on many mechanics from Persona and SMT. One such mechanic is the companion system, or as the game calls it, Followers. Followers are your natural companions, who you fight and spend time with, and who let you give some benefits for doing so. In this guide, you will get an overview of Junah.

Junah joins you as you progress through the main story. However, she only becomes a follower when you complete a side quest. Junah has the Masked Dancer Archetype.

Junah Rank Progression

• Rank 1: Unlocked upon completing the ‘Save the Mourning Snakes’ side quest.
• Rank 2: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • What are you buying?
  • That’s why you were nice to her?
  • You should do it.
• Rank 3: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Don’t let her get to you.
  • She’s no match for you.
• Rank 4: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • I’ll be with you.
• Rank 5: You need Imagination level 4. Respond with the following when prompted –
  • People are excited.
  • Are you alright?
• Rank 6: When in the gauntlet runner, respond with the following when prompted –
  • Was that you, Junah?
  • You were cute.
• Rank 7: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Fate is strange.
  • What do you mean?
  • I want to hear you sing.
• Rank 8: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • She’s got potential.
  • You give me hope.
  • We’ll do it together.

Junah Rank Rewards

• Rank 1: You have access to the Masked Dancer.
• Rank 2: Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Masked Dancer. Junah makes all party members recover a little bit of MP after a battle.
• Rank 3: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Masker Dancers to 2 and increases the amount of experience he gains when in reserve.
• Rank 4: Significantly reduces MAG cost for studying Masked Dancers.
• Rank 5: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Masker Dancers to 3.
• Rank 6: You have access to the Persona Master.
• Rank 7: Makes Junah gain experience at the normal rate when she is in reserve.
• Rank 8: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Masked Dancer to 4. Increases the MP recovery she provides after a battle. She also gains the ability to study their unique Royal Archetype once they become available.
