Metahpor: ReFantazio | Followers Guide – Eupha

Metaphor: ReFantazio is out, and it's amazing the game inherits or otherwise builds on many mechanics from Persona and SMT. One such mechanic is the companion system, or as the game calls it, Followers. Followers are your natural companions, who you fight and spend time with, and who let you give some benefits for doing so. In this guide, you will get an overview of Eupha Etoreika.

Eupha has a complicated process for her to join you. She first joins you after you complete the main objective on Virga Island. Afterward, she will ask to do a side quest. Completing it lets her join you as a follower.

Eupha Rank Progression

• Rank 1: Unlocked upon completing the ‘The Trial of Malnova’ side quest.
• Rank 2: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • It probably happens a lot.
  • I can’t leave you alone anywhere.
  • Of course I will.
• Rank 3: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Teach me, too.
  • Your beliefs are your own.
• Rank 4: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Let’s take a look.
  • You can help them.
• Rank 5: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • That was scary.
  • Let’s figure something out.
  • Less thinking, more action.
  • I’ll give you a hand.
• Rank 6: You need to have Eloquence level 4. Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Let’s go see.
  • Then let’s hurry.
• Rank 7: You need to have Wisom level 5. Complete the Wayward Shepherd and then respond with the following when prompted –
  • They did.
• Rank 8: Respond with the following when prompted –
  • Request?
  • Sure, but…
  • I understand.
  • How did you know?
  • I feel the same way.

Eupha Rank Rewards

• Rank 1: You have access to the Summoner
• Rank 2: Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Summoner. Reduces the chance of your party being afflicted with Anxiety
• Rank 3: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Summoners to 2 and increases the amount of experience she gains when in reserve.
• Rank 4: Significantly reduces MAG cost for studying Summoner.
• Rank 5: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Summoner to 3.
• Rank 6: You have access to the Devil Summoner.
• Rank 7: Makes Eupha gain experience at the normal rate when she is in reserve.
• Rank 8: Increases the skill inheritance slot for Summoners to 4. Further, it reduces the chances of the party being afflicted with anxiety. She also gains the ability to study their unique Royal Archetype once they become available.
