Remnant II - The Dark Horizon | How to Unlock Black Great Sword

The new Black Great Sword is one of the coolest-looking melee weapons in Remnant 2, and it’s sure to catch the eye of anyone who loves massive swords like the Berserk Great Sword or Cloud’s Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7. If you want to wield this impressive weapon, here’s how to unlock it.

Head to Brabus in Ward 13

To get started, you’ll need to visit Brabus in Ward 13. He has a selection of weapons for sale, and you’ll need to buy every single one to progress. If you haven’t purchased anything from him before, be prepared to spend quite a bit of money, but if you’re stocked up on cash, you should have just enough to get everything in one go.

Purchase All Weapons

Once you’ve bought all the available weapons, don’t forget to exhaust Brabus’s dialogue options. This is an important step because he’ll give you a special item called the Black Metal Bars after you do.

Take the Black Metal Bars to McCabe

Now that you’ve got the Black Metal Bars head over to McCabe. You’ll need to have the DLC installed for this next part to work. When you talk to McCabe, a new dialogue option will appear, allowing you to give her the bars.

Travel and Return

After handing over the Black Metal Bars, simply travel away and come back. When you return, McCabe will have the New Black Great Sword ready for you. You just have to speak to her to get the weapon.
