How to get the Spirit Alternator Ring in Remnant 2 Dark Horizon DLC

The Spirit Alternator is a new shield-based ring in the Dark Horizon DLC of Remnant 2. To get this, you will need to get certain items scattered across the map of Withered Necropolis and you need to complete a quest. Here’s how you can get it.

Find the Prototype Memory Core

First, make your way to the Withered Necropolis in the DLC and start at the Whade Conservatory Crystal. Follow the path shown on the map until you reach a platform where you’ll need to clear out enemies. Once done, enter the nearby structure and head down the hallway to collect the Prototype Memory Core. It’s an orange item at the end of the hallway.

Activate the Memory Core

Inspect the Prototype Memory Core in your inventory and press the small button at the top to turn its indicator light blue. This will help you later.

Find the Prototype Arm

Next, you’ll need to find two other components: the Prototype Arm and the Prototype Claw. Start near the Interior Recess Crystal and follow the path leading to a glider area. Glide to a red zone on the map, clear out the enemies, and collect the Prototype Arm.

Get the Prototype Claw

Then, move to the Dilapidated Auditorium Crystal. Follow the hallway to the end to find the Prototype Claw.

If you haven’t already, you should also pick up the Prototype Head at the very beginning of the Dark Horizon DLC, where the cart crashed.

Complete the Quest and Get the Spirit Alternator

Once all parts are collected, return them to the Dilapidated Auditorium and take the door to the Agronomy Sector. Take the elevator up, follow the hallway, and locate the door. Inside, hand over the parts. Make sure the Prototype Memory Core is blue when you do so. Once completed, you’ll receive the Spirit Alternator ring, which converts 150% of the incoming shield into mod power.
