Remnant II - The Dark Horizon | How to Get the Repair Tool

The Repair Tool is a new item introduced in the Dark Horizon DLC for Remnant 2. You won’t be able to obtain it on your first playthrough, but you can snag this versatile tool once you're deep into the Dark Horizon map and one of the older dungeons. Here’s how you can get it.

Find the Right Tile Set

To start, you’ll need to be in the Agronomy Sector after the bridge collapse. In this area, there’s a chance for a specific tile set to spawn, which features a strange force field and a socket that is empty. You’re looking for this specific room on the level. While sometimes it spawns with all three sockets filled, you need one with an empty socket for this to work.

Go To the Decorum Cipher at Terminus Station

Once you’ve confirmed the tile set, you’ll need Terminus Station to spawn as one of your dungeons. After completing the train event at the end of the station, head to the right and navigate a few obstacles. From here, climb up into the rafters, jump down onto the train, and find the Decorum Cipher inside.

Unlock the Force Field

Once you have the Deorum Cipher, return to the location where you found the force field and plug the cipher into the empty socket. This will deactivate the force field that blocks the door ahead Now you should be able to enter the room and get the Repair Tool.

When leveled up to +20, the Repair Tool has 30 damage, 11 RPS, and a magazine size of 150. It fires a stream of nanomachines, dealing damage to enemies or healing allies for 3% of their max health per second. It can also restore energy to turrets and drones, making it a great asset for engineers. The best part? Both slots are open, so you can add a modifier and mutator to suit your playstyle.
