Here’s a guide on how to get Mounts in Soulmask.

Exploring the world on foot can be slow, but you can find animals to help you travel faster. The Alpaca is the easiest mount to get first. You might find small baby ones kept in cages.

Simply pick one up and carry it back to your base. Once it grows up, it will like you, and you can ride it around to carry more gear than you ever could alone.

Trapping a Panther

Getting a Panther is more work but worth the effort if you want a speed demon. You cannot just pick these up; you need to craft a Medium Trap. Find a female Panther in the wild and wait for her to have a baby.

Place your trap nearby with some bait inside to lure the baby in. Once the baby is caught, take it home and raise it until it is an adult in Soulmask.

Crafting Saddles and Using Tables

To ride your new friends, you need a saddle. If you are unsure how to make a Panther Saddle, check your menu. It will tell you that you need a level one Armor Forging Table. To get that table, you first have to use a Building Workshop.

This game has many different buildings, but the search bar in your menu makes it easy to find which table makes which item. If an item like a saddle doesn't show up in your personal crafting list, check the Crafting Table Blueprints section.

Choosing the Right Mount

Each animal has a special job that helps you in different ways. The Alpaca is your first basic mount that is faster than walking. The Llama acts as the pack mule because it can carry more weight than any other animal. If you want to travel by air, the Ostrich can glide.

The Snow Leopard is a must-have for the mountains because it handles the snowy, cold areas better than the others. Finally, the Panther is the fastest way to get across the map on land in Soulmask.
