To find your first early game mount in Soulmask, look for an Alpaca. These animals are very easy to tame and do not take much time to catch.

How to Catch an Alpaca

Finding these mounts is simple because they are usually already in cages. You can find them at Ancient Ruins or Barbarian Barracks. To take one, just pick it up and set it back down on the ground.

Once it is out, whistle to it and it will follow you all the way back to your base. Keep an eye out for small wooden enclosures while you explore these areas in Soulmask.

What They Eat

You need to keep your Alpaca fed so it stays healthy. They enjoy a variety of plants and specific feeds. You can give them Thatch, Potato, Quinoa, Pumpkin, or Corn.

They also like fruits like Banana and Pineapple, or you can use Peanut, Alpaca Feed, and Refined Alpaca Feed. Using these items will ensure your mount is ready for travel whenever you need to head out into the world.
