As you fight and work, your gear will lose durability. You can fix your items early on to keep them in top shape.

For example, if your Spear is damaged, you can repair it directly in your inventory. This is a habit you should start early because you will be doing it often as you take on tougher enemies.

Uncrafting and Salvaging Materials

Sometimes you will find weapons you do not want to use, like a pair of Stone Dual Blades. If these items are Green, Blue, Purple, or Red, they might have good crafting mods.

Instead of throwing them away, hover over the item and press V to Uncraft them. This gives you back raw materials. Salvaging items is a great way to get materials like Flint or a Wooden Handle, which are needed to build the next tier of weapons in Soulmask.

Upgrading to Stone Weapons

To step up from basic wooden tools, you should start making Stone Weapons. You do not even need a crafting bench for these. To craft a Stone Spear, you will need Flint, Thick Rope, and a Wooden Handle. You can get Flint by breaking rocks with your tools.

Once you have the parts, check the stats. A Stone Spear can do much more damage than a shoddy Wooden Spear. If you are lucky, you might even craft an Excellent purple-tier weapon, which gives you a huge boost in Soulmask.
