Sony Stated:

SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store.  SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.

Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund.  Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.

This is massive as other titles like Fallout 76 which was plagued with massive issues at launch did not get this treatment. This could be a serious message to other publishers and developers that cost Sony money and time. As refunds have been soaring since the game launched Sony has to take the time to refund the game through direct interaction from SIE representatives and customers. Gamers have stated they have gotten refunds only when speaking to someone directly and most getting denied using the automatic system. This especially hurts CD Projekt RED as the company promised to get customers refunds but looks like Sony just decided to take things to the next level as titles like Fallout 76 didn't get this level of attention.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, Stadia, and physical editions for PS4 and PS5.
