This year, Xbox has an incredible release calendar, with massive first-party titles coming out on Xbox, PC, Cloud, and handheld platforms almost every month. These titles are coming out practically every month. 2017 has the potential to be the most successful year for Xbox to date, with titles like Avowed, Indiana Jones, Hellblade II, and now Tony Hawk.

Although it has been 500 days since Xbox acquired Activision Blizzard, just a handful of games have been added to Game Pass. These games include Diablo IV, Call of Duty, and Spyro. While many legacy titles, including more than twelve Call of Duty games, are still available for purchase, they are not currently accessible to the public.

Although licensing issues prevent certain games, such as Transformers and Spider-Man, from being included in Game Pass, Xbox initially promised to integrate its first-party library as quickly as possible, comparable to how it handled the Bethesda acquisition.

Recent rumors, on the other hand, suggest that they want to gradually release these games over a period of time, which has caused fans to feel dissatisfied.  Ghost of Hope, a leaker for Call of Duty, claims that the next-generation Xbox will finally be released in the year 2026. It would appear that the new Xbox development kit is being utilized in the construction of Call of Duty 2026, which is indicative of a transition to next-gen hardware.

In the upcoming video game Tony Hawk 3 & 4 Remaster, which is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025, Tony Hawk will be making his return. After the tremendous success of Tony Hawk 1 & 2 Remaster, this release is another addition to the great roster of first-party titles that Xbox has available. These classic skating games have been brought into the modern era by the redesigned versions, which display an unparalleled level of attention to detail.

The long-awaited Gears of War: Marcus Fenix Trilogy, which will feature Gears of War 1, 2, and 3, is reportedly in the process of being developed. However, it is highly unlikely that it would include the game Judgment. A controversial allegation, on the other hand, suggests that the collection will not include competitive player-versus-player multiplayer or cooperative gameplay choices.

To avoid causing a rift among fans in advance of Gears E-Day, the next mainstream Gears of War game, which is scheduled to be released in late 2025 or early 2026, may exclude competitive multiplayer. This is according to credible sources such as Jez Corden, who stated that story cooperative gameplay and Horde mode should be included.
