Silent Hill 2 Guide | How to Get Bliss Ending

The best psychological horror game that influences almost every horror game that comes out today just got a remake. The Silent Hill 2 Remake is currently the best way to experience this horror masterpiece.

Just like the original, this game features multiple endings. There are all six endings from the original, plus two more, for a total of eight possible endings. This game handles endings a little differently—rather than requiring you to make a certain dialogue decision to get the endings, your endings are determined by how the game is played.

The conditions are quite ambiguous—how frequently James is healed, how Maria is managed, and so on influence how your game finishes. Fortunately, the way to get the six original endings largely remains the same as they were in the original.

This guide will show you how to get the Bliss ending in the Silent Hill 2 Remake. This is one of the two brand-new endings added to the remake.

How To Get the Bliss Ending

To get this ending, you need to be playing on New Game+. First, you need to find The Rusted Key and a bottle called White Claudia.

How to Find the Rusted Key

The Rusted Key is hidden inside a safe, which is located in one of the shoe cubbies at Pete’s Bowl-O-Rama. You’ll need a code to unlock the safe —

Once the safe is unlocked, you should be able to grab the Rusted Key.

How to Find the White Claudia Bottle

This item is inside a small chest which can be found in a gazebo inside the garden at Brookhaven Hospital.

Once you have these two items, just keep playing through the game until you reach Room 312. Once you are there, drink the White Claudia and then use the videotape. You’ll be locked into the Bliss ending once you do this.
