Silent Hill 2 Guide | How to Solve the Bracelet Puzzle

Here’s how you can solve the Brookhaven Hospital Bracelet Puzzle in the Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Konami has made a comeback with the release of Silent Hill 2, a remake of the company's most renowned horror game. This game is infamous for having a number of cryptic riddles that may take up a significant amount of time throughout the run, and the Silent Hill 2 remake occasionally gets carried away with them. You'll probably remember the Coin Puzzle and Hospital's Box Puzzle the most because they're enjoyable to finish. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can solve the Bracelet Puzzle.

You will run into the Bracelet Puzzle on the second floor of the Director’s Office of the Brookhaven Hospital. Before attempting the puzzle, you’ll need to get your hands on a few items:

Marked Bracelet
Bloodstained Bracelet
Filthy Bracelet

How to Get the Marked Bracelet

The Marked Bracelet is one of the three Bracelets you’ll need to collect to solve the puzzle. You can find it in a wooden box on the first floor of Brookhaven Hospital Medical Records Room. For that, you’ll need to obtain the L1 Room Key, which you get from the second-floor Nurses Lounge – you’ll spot it on top of the coffee table.

Using the L1 Key, enter the L1 Room. Once you are in, move the cart to the broken window and then stand on top of the cart to enter the window hole to reach the other side. After you’re inside, head to the Utility Room adjacent to it.

Upon entering the Utility Room, you’ll see a small hole—crawl inside it. When you reach the bottom, push the wall and end up in a hallway near the Medical Records Room. Enter the small vent to get inside the Medical Records Room.

Lastly, after you interact with the wooden box, you will get the Marked Bracelet.

How to Get the Bloodstained Bracelet

To get the Bloodstained Bracelet, you’ll need to first head inside the C1 Room on the second floor of the hospital. Interact with the poster on the wall once inside – you’ll see an eye symbol and an interview transcript behind it.

Once you are done, make your way to the second-floor Women’s Locker Room and interact with the Brown Teddy Bear to get your hands on the Needle.

Head to the first-floor Day Room and look around the left. You’ll see a hole that you can use to go to the Pharmacy. When you’re inside the Pharmacy, jump through the window to make your way into the Garden.

Once you're in the Garden, go to the Greenhouse. Then, you’ll have to jump through a window again to make your way to the Pool. Enter the Shower Room, where you’ll see a Medical Tube inside a sink. Using your inventory, combine the Medical Tube with the Needle to create a Medical Tube with a Needle Attached.

Head back to the Pharmacy and use the item you made to fish out the Maintenance Key in the drain, which is around the window.

You can use the Maintenance Key on the Pool Pump to drain the water – you can find the pump near the Shower Room.

To find the Bracelet, you’ll have to locate the eye symbol inside the pool and break it.

How to Get Filthy Bracelet

You can find the Filthy Bracelet underneath the sheets inside the locked room on the third floor of Brookhaven Hospital. You can unlock the room by completing the X-Ray Puzzle and by unlocking the Lock using the code – view our Silent Hill 2 Guide | How to Solve X-Ray Puzzle.

How to Solve Bracelet Puzzle

To finish the puzzle, go back to the second-floor Director’s Office, and once you’re in the room, arrange the bracelets in the Director’s Hand. Place the Bloodstained Bracelet on top, the Marked Bracelet in the Middle, and the Filthy Bracelet at the bottom.

Make sure the bracelet shows the numbers 92,45,71 vertically downwards.

Finishing the puzzle will give you the Director’s Storage Room Key. You can use it to open the Director’s Storage Room in Brookhaven Hospital.
