Silent Hill 2 Guide | How to Solve X-Ray Puzzle

Here’s how you can solve the X-Ray Puzzle of Brookhaven Hospital in the Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Silent Hill 2, a remake of the company's most well-known horror game, marks Konami's return. This game is notorious for its many cryptic puzzles that may take up a lot of time over the game's duration, and the Silent Hill 2 version sometimes goes beyond with them. Because they're fun to complete, you'll most likely recall the Coin Puzzle and Hospital's Box Puzzle. In this guide, we'll explain how to solve the X-Ray Puzzle.

Located on the third floor of Brookhaven Hospital, you’ll need to access the puzzle by entering through a window in Exam Room 5. But before attempting the X-Ray Puzzle, you’ll need to get your hands on a few items: a Radiograph of a Pelvis and a Moldy Radiograph.

You’ll Find the Radiograph of a Pelvis in Exam Room 5 on the table — and two more are already there in the puzzle.

The Doctor’s Memo suggests that there’s another radiograph that you need to find to complete the puzzle, which is the Moldy Radiograph. Here’s how you can find it.

How to Find Moldy Radiograph

To get your hands on the Moldy Radiograph, you’ll need to make your way to the second-floor Treatment Room in Brookhaven Hospital – you’ll find it inside a bathtub. In order to access the room, you have to enter a code that will vary depending on the puzzle difficulty you’ve set.

Light Difficulty: 3578

Standard Difficulty: 3578

Hard Difficulty: 7456

After you get your hands on the Moldy Radiograph, you’ll need to remove the mold. Head to the first-floor Pantry of the Brookhaven Hospital. You’ll find it in a trash chute; once you’ve retrieved it, combine it with the Moldy Radiograph in your inventory to get a Cleaned-up Radiograph.

After you finish, head back to the X-ray room.

How to Solve X-Ray Puzzle

Display the Radiograph of a Pelvis, Cleaned Up Radiograph with the other radiographs as shown in the picture. You’ll get the numbers 4,37,12 – a code for the third-floor Hospital Door.

The locked room has the Filty Bracelet, which you’ll need to complete the Bracelet Puzzle in the Hospital.
