The Outer Worlds 2 Guide | Fiddling with Furfleeting Fermentations Quest

Here’s how you can recalibrate all the tower and complete the Fiddling with Furfleeting.

The Fiddling with Furfleeting Fermentations quest in The Outer Worlds 2 requires you to locate and recalibrate several towers across different areas.

The task can be perceived as tedious due to the amount of traversing required, along with fighting numerous enemies, but this guide will cover how you can easily manage this quest.

Tower #1

After moving through the main path, you’ll need to climb the upper section of rock to reach the top. You’ll be greeted with a bunch of bug-like enemies, so it’s best that you utilise AOE weapons to clear the hoard effectively.

At the top hidden side of the terminal to recalibrate the first tower.

Tower #2

Using the map, the next tower can be found just beside the main road, and it’s out in the open, allowing you to reach it without much effort.

But it isn’t as easy as it may seem because you’ll need a few components before recalibrating it. Go towards the cave nearby, following the main path.

There will be a repair kit on top of a box beside the entrance; after collecting it, head to the terminal to install the part and then complete the recalibration.

Tower#3

Using the map, you’ll find the third tower across the broken bridge, where you will be greeted by spiral creatures that patrolled the area.

Once you make it to the tower, interact with the terminal inside, completing the recalibration.

Tower #4

For this terminal, you will need to activate two anomalies to reach the tower.

After triggering both of those anomalies, various platforms will appear, which will allow you to climb up to where the control panel is.

By parkouring up, you can make it down the hatch to interact and recalibrate.

Tower #5

For the last tower, it lies in a narrow crevice along the road.

It will be locked, by you’ll be able to climb the rocks surrounding it, where there will be a hatch that you can drop down. Alternatively, you could also use your lockpicking skills.

After accessing the terminal, perform the final recalibration.

Once all recalibration has commenced, you can now return to the quest giver to complete the quest and receive a reward.
