In this AI Limit guide, you will learn how to obtain the Crystal Sprout, which unlocks the Reconstruction ability at Link Branches. This makes it free to reset your stat points at any branch once you have it.

Travel Through Sunken City Underground

To begin, you must travel to the Withered Forest. You need to go through Sunken City Underground and reach Eastern Square.

If you have not yet arrived at High Street, progress until you do; eventually, you will encounter a door near an NPC and a distinctive creature in the water.

Opening the Forest Entrance Door

Opening this door makes things much faster. If the door is already open, proceed; if it is closed, open it by following the most efficient method.

Once the door is open, follow the path from Eastern Square—the closest save point to the forest—until you reach the forest entrance.

New Game Plus Consideration

If you are playing New Game Plus, you do not need to obtain the Crystal Sprout again, as it will be available from the start.

Exploring the Withered Forest

Upon arriving at the Withered Forest entrance, you may skip enemies and loot to go straight to the building containing the Crystal Sprout; however, feel free to explore at your own pace if you prefer. Enter the only door in this building, then proceed upwards to the top floor.

Locating the Crystal Sprout

There, you'll find the Crystal Sprout, which is purple and shiny—do not confuse it with a similar item located at the bottom.

Once you collect the Crystal Sprout, the ability to reset your stat points in AI Limit at any branch is permanently unlocked. In New Game Plus, this ability remains available from the start.
