Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Guide | How to Get Every Weapon For Cloud
A guide on how to get all the weapons for Cloud in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Game Guide by Sabi on Dec 28, 2024
Each of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's seven primary playable characters gets access to seven different weapons. Fortunately, you may purchase most of these 49 weapons from a weapons merchant if they miss them the first time, so none of them are actually missable. The remaining ones are linked to particular mini-games and side missions, all of which are accessible until you approach the point of no return, which is close to the start of Chapter 13.
Except for certain story points, Cloud, our primary character, is always present at the party. Because of this, you'll always want him to be at his best, so pay close attention to his weaponry first.
Buster Sword
Cloud's default weapon is this. It is evenly balanced and has the Focused Thrust ability.
Sleek Saber
This weapon is located in a small chest near the deserted pier in the Grasslands area. It is designed to deal with physical damage and has the Firebolt Blade ability.
Rune Blade
Just before the boss battle with Roche, this weapon is located in Junon's Starboard Connecting Passage. It is designed for magic and has the Disorder ability.
Umbral Blade
This weapon is located in the Dustbowl on the ground floor of the Solemnitude Manor. It is designed for more material slots and has the Prime Mode ability.
Crystal Sword
The Gongaga Reactor Freight Corridor is where you can find the Crystal Sword. It increases strength and magic at the expense of material slots and comes with Infinity's Edge ability.
Igneous Saber
On Mt. Nibel, the Igneous Saber is on the metal scaffolding near the climbable cliffs. It gives much more power for a lot less mana, and it has the Blade Burst ability.
Slipstream Saber
The Slipstream Saber is located in the Corridor of Trepidation, up a patch of climbable ivy before inverting gravity, in the Temple of the Ancients. It gives significantly more magic at the cost of strength and comes with the Counterstance ability.
