Alone in the Dark Guide | All Chapter 4 Collectibles Locations

In Chapter 4 of Alone in the Dark, you can get 16 collectibles, including Clues, Lagniappes, Locks, and Conversations. Collecting these items will help you with the game's narrative. This is a guide on how to find all collectibles.

Lagniappe #1: Broken spectacles.

Visit the previously empty washroom (WC) in the mansion. Inspect the sink for Broken Spectacles. 

Lagniappe #2: Opera Playbill

In the Small Parlor, find a chair near the fireplace. The Opera Playbill is sitting on this chair. 

Lagniappe #3: The Flying Dutchman

Enter the Treatment Room and find The Flying Dutchman on a chair inside. 

Lagniappe #4: Map of the Caribbean.

In the Sitting Room, use the France item on the closed globe to show the Map of the Caribbean. 

Lagniappe #5: Movie Script

The Movie Script may be found in a box next to the typewriter inside Cassandra's room. 

Lagniappe #6: War Photo

The War Photo can be seen on the dresser near the bed in Ruth's room. 

Lagniappe #7: Jangling Shaker

Explore freely in the Grand Parlor, which has altered, as seen in a previous cutscene. Behind the bar, the Jangling Shaker is on the ground. 

Lagniappe #8: Scapegoat

The Scapegoat may be found immediately to the right as you enter the Infirmary. 

Lagniappe #9: Tessellated Shards

After regaining consciousness in the Attic, investigate the hidden nook to discover the Tessellated Shard on a table next to a bust. 

Lagniappe #10: Broken Compass

On the boat level, enter the lower level from the front. The Broken Compass is resting on a box within the engine bay. 

Lagniappe #11: Pallid Mask

At the boat's top, go to the front and drop through a hole in the floor into a closed compartment. The Pallid Mask is sitting in the adjacent room on a red chair. 

Lagniappe #12: Ashes of Indigo

When you enter the Empty Room, look to your right for the Ashes of Indigo atop a white cover sheet. 

Lagniappe #13: A box of biscuits

The Box of Biscuits is located in the Old Archives, to the left of a messy desk. 

Lagniappe #14: Toe Tag

After a cutscene in the Flooded Morgue, interact with the Toe Tag again to get it as a Lagniappe. 

Lagniappe #15: Do Not Disturb

This item is prominently displayed on the door to Dr. Gray's apartment. 

Lagniappe #16: Toy Talisman

The Toy Talisman sits on the floor inside Dr. Gray's apartment.
