If you’re having a hard time finding all the new weapons added to Remnant 2: The Awakened King DLC, here’s a guide to show you how to get every one of them.
Monarch Long Gun
We're starting with the long guns. The first one is the Monarch, one of the easiest weapons to obtain in the DLC. Your task is to eliminate the One True King as he falls from his hammer's destruction. The weapon is a fast automatic rifle, but its real power is the weapon mod, the Chain of Command.
This mod fires a harpoon to mark a target, causing all primary fire to become homing rounds, dealing 15% reduced damage, but you can hit it wherever it is without aiming.
Enemies hit by the homing rounds build influence. Recasting exits this mode, but when your influence fills, Monarch automatically reloads and creates a shockwave, and the wielder becomes a tyrant, gaining 20% increased damage and infinite reserves for 20 seconds.
Sparkfire Shotgun
The Sparkfire Shotgun is the only other long gun in the DLC. It's a normal weapon that can be upgraded to level 20, but it fires incendiary shells that apply burning to all targets, dealing 30 damage over 3 seconds—perfect for the new Ritualist archetype, which extends this time with its trait. The Sparkfire Shotgun is located at the bottom of the Lighthouse in a locked room of the Derelict Lighthouse area.
You'll need to kill Gor and Thunder Piercer aberrations to receive the key, then interact with the key to change it for that door. Once you use the key at the door, it vanishes and becomes inaccessible at the upstairs door, preventing entry into the main Lighthouse.
Steel Scythe
We are now moving on to melee weapons. The first one is the Steel Scythe. It's an improvised scythe that deals moderate damage, ideal for slicing and dicing. Being a normal weapon, it comes with no equipped weapon mod and can be leveled up to level 20. You can buy this from the weapon dealer by the Fire and Ranger in Ward 13.
Ritualist Scythe
The next one is the Ritualist Scythe. This item can be found in the Forgotten Commune area. You'll have to find the two befouled altars in the area and defeat them. Defeating each one gives you one part of the weapon.
Once you have both parts, view the hilt and interact with the connection point, combining the two parts to make the Ritualist. The Reaver weapon mod deals 10% additional damage to targets suffering from negative status effects.
Abyssal Hook
The next melee weapon is a heavy weapon made from the anchor of a ship, the sunken witch used to bludgeon the whole crew to death: the Abyssal Hook.
It can be found in the second part of the Forlorn Coast in the sewers, which you can access by climbing down the well at the beginning of the area (surrounded by those godforsaken demon pigs) or by going down the path by the World Crystal Fracture checkpoint and opening the gate.
Kill all the enemies here and climb the ladder. The path leads to a manticore lair with not one but two manticores. Kill them both and head to the back of the lair to find the Abyssal Hook. This weapon does heavy damage with a high stagger modifier.
The weapon mod is Fathomless Deep, which, when charged, increases melee stagger by 10% per stack for 5 seconds, and this modifier can be stacked three times.
WrathBringer
You can craft the final melee weapon, Tormentor's Pummel, into the WrathBringer as an alternative reward for killing the One True King. Breaking the One True King's hammer and killing him when he's kneeling down is your task.
The WrathBringer, a melee weapon with the weapon mod Awakening, increases melee damage by 5% per stack for 10 seconds when it receives incoming damage, and this effect can stack up to 10 times.
Anguish Handgun
The final weapon for the DLC is a handgun, and it is the absolute hardest weapon to get, not just in the DLC but also in the base game; it's called the Anguish.
Roll a campaign after downloading the DLC update. You cannot use an old campaign from before the DLC update, or the Drowned won't spawn in the Labyrinth. When starting a new campaign, I recommend rolling until you get Losomn's Morrow Parish with the Night Weaver questline, as you could face up to four bosses, and since you cannot die once you've started the quest, it's worth being able to get there easier.
Hopefully, you'll also roll the Red Throne starting point in Yaesha and the Forgotten Prison in N'Erud. You don't need to complete the whole campaign; just get past the Train Yard in the Ashen Wasteland for fewer enemies when you return.
Anguish Questline
Find the Ethereal Manor, which can spawn in most fire areas in Losomn. Try Adventure Mode and load the Forlorn Coast, as the second area will be either the Great Sewers, Cotton's Kiln, or the Sunken Haunt—the latter two can spawn the Ethereal Manor (though spawn rate is low, so be prepared to try multiple times).
Once you find the manor, head to the top, where the doctor is sitting in a chair. He will lunge at you and say, "Wake up," so prepare yourself for a jump-scare moment. You'll wake up in the dream version of the manor. Drink the Liquid Death consumable to die and transport to the Consecrated Throne.
Pick up the Crimson Dreamstone ring on the throne and return to Ward 13. In Ward 13, go to the bunker Ford led you to at the beginning of the game to find the doctor by the van. Speak to him until he disappears.
Load Yaesha in Adventure Mode until you get The Red Throne starting point (or use your campaign if it has this). Head right of the fountain to the final room to find our friend leaning on the wall. Speak to him until he disappears.
Go to the Labyrinth in Campaign Mode, to the Fractured Ingress World Stone. Follow either path up behind the portal to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Speak to him until he disappears.
Return to the World Stone and head to Tal'Ratha's Refuge if you have it in the campaign, or roll until you get the Forgotten Prison in Adventure Mode. At Tal'Ratha's Refuge, check the pods behind you to the left of the World Stone spawn and speak to him until he disappears.
Head to the Ashen Wasteland, past the Wreck Trainyard checkpoint, and find him by the fence. This stage is the most dangerous part, as there are enemies to defeat—remember, you cannot die.
After speaking to him again, go to the Tormented Asylum in Losomn to find him by the Night Weaver's web. When he disappears this time, you'll receive the item, Dr. Dream.
Equip and use Dran's Dream to transport to a new area called The Forgotten Null. You'll see the doctor sitting overlooking scenic water next to the Occult Vessel. Take this crafting material back to Ward 13 and craft your reward: the Anguish.
The Anguish is a medium-range shotgun capable of charging its shots to fire a devastating explosive rod. The weapon mod "Loath the Weak" turns the shotgun into an automatic handgun that rapidly fires volatile needles that explode after 1.5 seconds, dealing 30 explosive damage.
