This guide is going to walk you through how to get all the new traits in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom. In this DLC, we got four new traits: Leech, Chakra, Resolute, and Gifted.
How to Get Gifted
You'll unlock Gifted after you level your Invoker up to level 10, and then you can use it as a trait on any other build that you choose.
Getting Leech and Chakra
To get these first two traits, Leech and Chakra, you're actually going to have to go back to the base game. This is because, in the latest patch, they've actually combined four of the old traits into two. They replaced Resonance and Wayfair with new traits, but the way to find them remains unchanged.
Leech (Replacing Resonance)
For the first one, Leech, which is replacing Resonance, you'll want to go to the Dormant Rudan Facility on Yaesha.
Basically, when you get this dungeon, you're going to want to make your way over to this bridge area. The path may not be exactly the same, but just keep running through and try not to kill anything. You can kill a couple of things, but if you kill everything in that dungeon, then it's going to end. That's the goal of the dungeon.
Instead of doing that, we want to find this open area with this bridge and this huge purple cylinder. You want to drop off the side of the bridge like this and then just make your way around.
You need to be in co-op because you need to be locked out when someone else hits the button up in that room. Basically, what happens is it nukes everything that's out in the dungeon, therefore completing the dungeon. But with you staying outside, you're going to earn a trait.
Run up to the door. One person is going to go inside and hit the button on the main control panel. You can also pick up that key and go back to the main door and use that on there as well. They're going to go inside, and they're going to hit that main panel, and it's going to close the door, fill the dungeon room up with purple smoke, and then you'll get the trait.
While you're outside huffing in the purple smoke, your co-op partner is going to be inside fighting an aberration.
If it wasn't obvious by the name, Leech is actually Life Steal Efficacy. It's going to give you an increase to your current lifesteal. It's basically a percent increase of your lifesteal. It would work really well with the Profane Heart.
Chakra (Replacing Wayfair)
The next trait you'll actually need to complete in the campaign will be obtained on Root Earth. This trait will take the place of the Wayfair trait. They swapped it out, and now it's a new trait called Chakra.
You want to progress your campaign through to Root Earth, and then after you defeat Cancer (one of the bosses in Root Earth), you're going to come across this little wave defense that we've got going on in here. Once you kill the final couple of elites, you're going to get that trait, Chakra. This trait is going to increase your mod generation by up to 30.
Resolute
This one will be back in the DLC, so you can roll an adventure. You want to progress your story up to the point where you're talking to Lydusa, and she curses you with that armor debuff.
Ensure that the skull, the armor debuff, is above your health bar to prevent your body from turning into stone upon death. A debuff on your bar will turn your body to stone when you die. So what you need to do is create 10 of those bodies wherever you want.
Right after you talk to her, go back to the stone and create 10 of those bodies. Use Liquid Escape, and once you have 10 of those bodies, you'll want to destroy them.
The easiest way to do this is by using the Invoker Wave to do it all in one go. However, doing that might not be enough to get the trait. You have to go over to the original body that you had created, and destroying it would be enough to get yourself the Resolute Trait.
If you're not getting the trait, just try destroying it more and more and see if it pops up. Furthermore, sometimes the trait does not pop up on your screen, but you might have it in your traits, so take a look there if you've been trying to get it for a while.
