Here's a guide on how to dock ship in Solarpunk.

Avoiding a lot of crashes and close calls is made easy by knowing how to land your Airship properly in Solarpunk. There are two methods of docking, and this guide addresses both.

Docking on Any Open Island

When approaching an island, lower your power. Get yourself positioned over the island and come to a stop. Then slowly lower your ship until it appears to be almost touching the ground, and press E. Do this when you are well over the island, not hanging off the side, as it is easy to fall off the side if you are not careful.

Leaving an Open Island

It's easy to get back out. Get back on your Airship, press the spacebar immediately to get some altitude, then increase the power and go. It's important to get off the ground fast here, otherwise you'll cut something on the way up.

Docking at a Dock Station

Getting into a proper dock requires a little more care. Reduce your speed well before you get to it. As you approach, continue to press S to fully retract the throttle. Be sure to turn the power off completely as you inch forward. When close to the dock, press E and the ship will lock in. The important thing is to get as slow as you can before you try, as if you come in too fast, it will be difficult to get lined up.
