Kingdom Come: Deliverance II follows in the footsteps of the first game, continuing the saga of Henry of Skalitz as he resumes his crusade of vengeance and adventure. Pebbles is one of the best horses in the game; this guide explains how you can reclaim Pebbles early in the story without having to spend any money.

To start, you’ll need around 45-50 Groschen to purchase a few lockpicks. You will be able to buy the lockpicks from traders or blacksmiths in towns like Troskowitz or Tachov; they come in handy for the following steps.

Locating Pebbles

From Troskowitz, head southwest until you reach an area called Semine; you will be able to spot Pebbles in a fenced-off field. Pebbles is owned by a man who wants money for him, but you can get away from getting Pebble without spending any money.

Stealing Pebbles

Wait until night falls, and then use the lockpicks that you bought to enter the owner’s house; it would be wise to save the game before attempting this, as breaking in can be challenging, and you might fail or get caught. If that happens, you can always reload the save to try again.

When you make it inside the house, look for the owner and pickpocket him. Focus on stealing his money around 400 Groshen. That amount should cover the cost of buying the horse and leave some money for you. Once you are done, exit the house and wait until morning.

Return to the fenced area where Pebbles is kept and speak to the owner, offering to buy Pebbles. You’ll be able to buy him for 150 Groschen, and since you stole 400 from the other night, this leaves you with a profit of 250.

After buying Pebbles, equip him with a saddle and appropriate gear so that you can mount him and use him for traveling.
