Kingdom Come: Deliverance II follows in the footsteps of the first game, continuing the saga of Henry of Skalitz as he resumes his crusade of vengeance and adventure.

During the Hermit side quest, you’ll be given an objective, which is to locate the Hermit’s grave and sword. This guide is going to show you step-by-step instructions on how to do so.

Locating Hermit’s Grave

To find the grave, travel to the top right corner of the map, above the town of Apollonia. The area resembles a graveyard and is marked by a flag icon on the map.

Once you reach the area, look for a tree with two branches connected together. The grave is located near that tree, right next to broken tree branches, which will serve as a landmark for the grave’s location.

Obtaining The Hermit’s Sword

To dig up the grave, you’ll need a spade. A spade can be bought from a trader in Troskowitz, but if you’re short on cash or don’t want to bother trading, you can steal one from the Troskowitz cemetery.

With the spade in your possession, approach and interact with the grave to begin digging, after which you’ll see the contents. You’ll then be able to get Ambrose’s Broken Sword, which is a key item for completing the Hermit side quest.

Save Before Digging: To avoid any potential issues, it’s recommended to save the game before attempting to dig up the grave, especially if the spade was stolen.
