Treasure hunting is a substantial aspect of being a pirate in Windrose, and this quest is one of the earliest ones you will come across. The Fifteen Men on a Dead Man's Chest quest is a very short hunt but you can complete it in no time provided that you know where to look. Although pulling a box out of the ground sounds simple, you are to be prepared to have a fight. When you open the chest, it can be difficult when you are still new to the game.

Introduction to the Mission and Finding the Site

In order to start this adventure, you must locate a particular item the Blurry Sketch of the Island. This Curio can be located by searching a shipwreck on the east coast of the initial island. After picking it up, you can follow the mission by going to your Journal in the Adventure tab. There will be a blue marker in the middle of the island. On reaching the spot you will find four Skeletons lying round on the ground. The treasure is buried right in the midst of these bones. Take your Shovel and dig a few times till you see the chest coming out of the dirt.

Living through the Ambush and Taking Treasure

As soon as you try to open the Pirate's Chest, four Drowned enemies will rise from the ground to attack you. These are level 2 monsters, and hence they may be problematic in the event that they enclose you. The best thing to do is kill one at a time lest you be overwhelmed. Once you beat them, you can strip off their bodies to get Undead Essence. After the area is clear, once more go back to the chest and interact with it again to complete the quest.
