Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 features Exotic Weapons. These weapons are an ultra-rare version of the regular guns; they have upgraded traits that go beyond your regular legendary weapon.

Exotic Weapons contain random special effects that enhance how you perform in combat; these may include incendiary rounds that burn enemies or combination ammo.

You’ll be able to find Exotic Weapons in Zone 4, which also happens to be the most dangerous area in the Endgame Mode; they will usually be scattered around the areas inside of caches, supply crates, and can even be dropped from Elite Enemies — they can sometimes drop two.

Dr. Falkner is also one of those enemies that regularly drop Exotic Weapons; you’ll be able to find him on the southernmost island of Zone 4. He usually drops more than one.

The catch with Exotic Weapons is that you can only equip one at a time, so it’s important to pick the right one that goes with your loadout. You will be able to find an exotic for each weapon category, from assault rifles, SMGs, snipers, and even launchers.

Utilising Exotic Launcher's are a part of the current meta and are considered to be the best weapons in the game right now, especially for bosses.

Exotic Weapons will also carry over to various operators, and they will remain equipped until you fail an extraction.
