The rarity of your weapon is a fundamental aspect in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Endgame. Since your weapon rarity is correlated with its damage output, handling, and overall efficiency.

Endgame mode in Call of  Duty: Black Ops 7 has this progression feature for weapons that allows you to upgrade any of them. This guide will explain how.

Without heading into specifics, the simplest way to upgrade your weapon rarity is by completing Endgame activities. Almost every mission in Endgame will provide you with spawned loot by securing a safe, hunting an HVT, or looting a command center.

The cases that they give you as rewards will often be randomized; the rarity of these rewards will increase with difficulty zones —  Tier 1  gives you a weapon with low rarity, whereas higher tiers will give you higher rarities. But there is a catch: you are required to exchange your current weapon entirely to pick up the new weapon.

If you wish to keep your preferred gun instead of swapping it, your best bet is the Jailbreak Workbenches. They will offer you a safer alternative, and you'll often know the rarity of your upgrade.

These workbenches will pop up in every zone.

  • Tier 1 workbenches will upgrade your weapon to an uncommon.
  • Tier 2 will upgrade your weapon to a blue.
  • Tier 3 will upgrade your weapon to a purple.
  • Tier 4 will upgrade your weapon to legendary.

Heading to a higher-tier workbench will be risky, and they will often be found in dangerous zones. But they are a reliable way of getting your hands on high-rarity weapons.

Any of the high-rarity weapons that you have acquired will be a part of your persistent loadout, meaning you will have a good loadout from the start of future endgame runs.

But if you edit the loadout afterwards, you will remove the stored weapon, so you'll want to make changes only if required.

If you combine the various methods in which you can acquire a weapon, follow them and utilize the Jailbreak Workbenches, you'll be able to upgrade your weapons at ease.

Possessing a good arsenal, especially when marching into higher-tier zones, is a must to defeat elite enemies and difficult bosses.
