In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, there are specific Camo requirement challenges that require you to land a certain number of headshots.

Although it's not the hardest of challenges, racking up headshots for various weapons can be a time-consuming process, but having the right setup and approach makes it much quicker and efficient.

This guide will show you how to build an effective setup, what modes to prioritize, and the best settings to utilize in order to land headshot kills.

Having a strong setup will make a difference in grinding, even for headshots. Certain perks will help you with your positioning and finding enemies, and making them extremely valuable:

  • The Ghost perk will keep you undetected by enemies.
  • The Vigilance perk will alert you when an opponent is visible on the enemy map, making it handy when it comes to avoiding ambushes.
  • The Tracker perk will help reveal enemy footsteps and their nearby position, making it easier to predict where enemies are gonna come from and allowing you to position your crosshair at head level.

When you combine all of these perks, you will have a small but helpful advantage when it comes to landing more headshots.

Utility is also helpful when it comes to utilizing them for landing headshots. Stun Grenades or Flashbangs are handy as they slow down and blind opponents, making it easier for you to land accurate shots.

For field upgrades, the Assault Pack for extra ammo or active camo can be useful, as you'll also get stealth benefits.

Stealth benefits help you manage engagements. You will also want to prioritize non-lethal streaks like the UAV, Scout Pulse, and Counter UAV to give you extra awareness without them taking away any of your kills.

The attachments that you pick will mostly be weapon-dependent, but you'll want to pick weapons that place an emphasis on recoil control and sight clarity.

Having a weapon with clean optics, recoil-reducing muzzles, and barrels will allow you to have a stable aim during gunfights. Faster aim-down-sights or sprint-to-fire attachments are also useful as they help you react quickly when getting out of corners.

You can also adjust certain settings, like your FOV. A lower FOV will make the enemies appear larger, but at the cost of your overall peripheral vision.

It's handy if you have a small display and struggle to aim at heads. Ideally, you will want to have the right balance between FOV and peripheral vision, or else you're going to be at a compromise.

For the ideal game mode when it comes to getting headshots, you'll want to play Free for All, Kill Confirmed, and Domination as they give you the most consistent action.

Hardcore can help you get instant headshot kills, and it can work depending on how well you perform. But other modes tend to be more forgiving.

Playing in smaller or medium maps like Hijacked, Blackheart, Cortex, and Paranoia tends to give you the best opportunities because of their predictable engagement zones.

Lastly, to consistently land headshots and increase your accuracy, you will want to place an emphasis on pre-aiming at head height. You will also want to adjust your sensitivity so that you don't overaim and properly utilize the mini-map to track movement and time your shots properly.

Make sure to remind yourself not to shoot before aiming, as pacing your shots will often be more consistent over time.
