The Ray Gun Mark 2 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 - Ashes of the Damned can be retrieved through an Easter egg. This particular Easter egg will reward better loot, depending on higher round the round number. This guide will explain how you will be able to acquire the Ray Gun Mark 2.
As a reward for skills with progression, you will want to be at least at round 18 or later, giving you the best chance of getting your hands on the Ray Gun Mark 2 instead of getting just perks or extra points.
Turn On the Power Stations

To initiate the Easter Egg, your first requirement is going to be to power on every power station found across the map. There isn't a particular sequence to this. You'll just want to take the Ol’ Tessie around the map and smash through all of the wooden barricades.
It's important to do so as the block paths need to be cleared for later on during the Easter Egg sequence.
Jump Pad
After the map has fully opened and you've turned all of the power stations on, your next objective is going to be to use every single jump pad on the map. It doesn't matter where you start or which sequence to follow.
Your primary goal is to travel to each jump pad at least once and return to where the loop began. Make sure to tick all of the jump pads off the list.

After doing so, you'll want to head back to spawn and survive four consecutive rounds. After which, a slight signal nearby will start blinking.
This specific blinking is a numerical code that you need to decode, and it's required for the next part of the Easter egg.
Blinking Lights
This specific light will start blinking, and it represents a number. The blink stops briefly, which signifies that it's now counting another number.

Each set of these blinks will represent a different number, and after the entire sequence plays, there will be a long flash where the light doesn't blink, marking the restart of a sequence.
This sequence will change every match, so you'll need to count the blinks correctly and write it down somewhere.
For Example: 7 — 5 — 1 — 1 — 2 — 4 — 6
Jump Pad In Sequence
Every single one of the jump pads in Ashes of the Damned has a number printed on its backside. You have to use the pads in the exact order of the number shown by the blinking light.

After doing the final jump pad sequence, you need to return to Ashwood using your Ol’ Tessie.
You mustn't mess up the sequence or use the jump pad after finishing the sequence, or else you will have to redo the process all over again.
Jumpad Numbers:
1. Spawn
2. Vandorn Farm
3. Ashwood
4. Blackwater Lake
5. Exit 115
6. Zarya Cosmodrome
7. Ashwood
Find The Portal
After completing the jumping sequence, there will be a portal that spawns in between two jump pads. This can be between any jump pad, and you mustn't use a single jump pad until you find the portal.

Run around or drive Ol' Tessie around until you find it. After it's located, you'll want to look for a jump pad that is aligned with it to collide with the portal mid-air.
It's important that you find the correct portal that lines up with it, or else you'll need to do the process all over again.
After finding the correct jump pad that aligns with it, use the jump pad and collide with the portal mid-air. The portal will teleport you to the center of the map and also drop a pile of loot amongst the loot. There will also be the Ray Gun Mark 2.
